Rhinoplasty Question and Answers
Q - What's nasal packing?
A-Nasal packing is when a small bandage is placed inside of the nostril to stop or prevent bleeding. While packing may not be needed, it is nonetheless often used just in case any bleeding may occur. Some patients will have the packs removed before they go home, while others will have them removed the following morning. Packing is, unfortunately, an aspect of rhinoplasty which some find uncomfortable.
