Rhinoplasty Question and Answers
Q - How much downtime is associated with rhino?
A-While this will vary from patient to patient, typically you'll want to plan to stay in bed for the first day. Because swelling and bruising can remain visible for three weeks or longer, much of this will depend upon whether or not a patient chooses to be seen in public. Most patients are up and about within two days following surgery, and able to return to work or school within a week's time. You will, however, need to avoid strenuous activities, exertion, sun exposure and risking injury for two to three weeks.
