About Dr. Jeffrey Epstein
As a fellowship trained, doubly-board certified facial plastic surgeon, Dr. Epstein performs on average 3 rhinoplasty surgeries weekly. This experience provides him with a unique perspective on the nose, understanding not only what makes it look good, but also how to preserve its structure and support to assure clear breathing passages and long lasting cosmetic results. His extensive training, innate esthetic skills, and passion for perfection are combined with the most advanced surgical methods, enabling him to create noses that are both in harmony with the rest of the face and natural appearing. As you can see from his many before and after photos, Dr. Epstein's goal is ultimately to make his patients happy. To help assure that his patients will in fact be happy with the results of the surgery, Dr. Epstein utilizes computer imaging to better communicate with his patients. After taking the time in consultation to learn of the patient's goals, as well as to explain to the patient what can be accomplished and what he recommends, Dr. Epstein emails the computer image photos to the patient, giving the opportunity to view these images from the privacy of the home and to provide feedback as to what he/she likes and what changes are needed in the image- a back-and-forth interaction that assures the best outcome. What makes this process so effective in Dr. Epstein's hands is that the computer images are realistic- a fact noted by many patients when they remark that many of the "real" after photos are more aesthetic than the computer imaging views. Dr. Epstein meets with patients not only in his main office in Miami where he also performs surgery, but also in consultation in his offices in NYC and Boca Raton, as well as Tampa. In addition, patients can be evaluated without an in-person consult, through photos sent by email and if desired, a Skype® webcam consultation. Over the past 20 years, patients from all 50 United States and over 75 countries have traveled to be treated by Dr. Epstein, choosing him for his expertise, confidence, and accessibility.  Dr. Epstein is visited by doctors from around the world who consider him a mentor. This smiling surgeon from Eastern Europe has learned a lot. In addition to his active clinical practice, he has written many scientific articles and surgical test chapters, and teaches fellows and residents at the University of Miami. He is recognized by the lay press as an expert in the field of facial plastic surgery and appears regularly in the media. Recognition in 1999 by his peers culminated in his being elected President of the Florida Society of Facial Plastic Surgery. The patient, many times, is merely concerned about and would benefit most from the improvement of a minor imperfection and it is not necessary to "re-sculpt" the entire nose but rather to successfully and conservatively deliver the improvement. Other times, whether repairing the work done prior or operating on a nose with multiple cosmetic deficiencies, a more extensive surgery is required. Similarly, when performing nasal surgery, it is important to maintain or improve the patient's breathing function. With his background and training in otolaryngology, Dr. Epstein is well suited to do this and for over 20 years this approach has served both his patients and he well. Dr. Epstein performs hundreds and hundreds of surgeries every year with particular concentration in rhinoplasty. Dr. Epstein's patients come from throughout the world, many finding out about his work from other doctors as well as through the internet. MEDIA In the News and on the Go... The work of Dr. Epstein is constantly being featured in the media and at national meetings Looking Good to Get Ahead (as appeared on Channel 10 News) Channel 10 News interviewed Dr. Epstein and two of his patients on the benefits in the workplace of undergoing facial rejuvenation surgery. For Ken, the hair restoration provided him with more confidence when going into the boardroom. For Pat, eyelid and facelifts took away her anxiety over younger employees posing a challenge to her job position. Good Morning America en Espanol Broadcast worldwide, Dr. Epstein appeared on the Spanish Univision network top rated show Despierto America. He and a patient were interviewed to discuss plastic surgery and hair transplantation. Men and Plastic Surgery (as appeared on Channel 6 News) Ileana Bravo, Health Reporter, illustrated the surge in interest of men having plastic surgery by following the surgical course of Bob, who underwent hair restoration and a facelift. Three weeks after the surgery performed by Dr. Epstein, Bob was back at work, giving public presentations.
