Question:
Can you explain what a neck lift is?
Answer:
A neck lift specifically is a procedure that might be done with a post-auricular incision to lift just the tissues underneath the neck without being concerned about the face itself. However, all facelifts involve neck lifting and if you have a standard facelift you also get a neck lift even if the surgeon does not make that specific statement. However, there are individuals who really do not have any problems in their face and may just need some touching up in the neck area and, again, this can be done with a post-auricular incision that is a much smaller operation and could be called specifically a neck lift.
