As an experienced rhinoplasty surgeon, with over 20 years specializing in these procedures, Dr. Epstein has come to rely on computer imaging as an invaluable method for communicating with patients to assure the best possible outcome.
In order to assure this, Dr. Epstein performs the computer imaging of photos he takes during consultation (or that are sent to him by email in the case of web consultations) in his office after the consult has taken place, taking his time to make sure that the goals given by the patient are in fact taken into account. These Computer Imaging photos are then emailed to the patient, who has the opportunity to view these images from the privacy of home and to provide feedback as to what he/she likes and what changes are needed in the image. This back-and-forth interaction is the best assurance that the patient will be in fact happy with the outcome. What makes this process particularly effective in Dr. Epstein’s hands is that the Computer Imagings are realistic- a fact noted by many patients when they remark that many of the “real” after photos on the website and photo albums are more aesthetic than the computer imaging views.
Below are several examples of Before, Computer Imaging, and Actual After Results.
